Since 1988, feeling the development of products with health, beauty or wellbeing claims, the leaders of the Cooperative Elle & Vire decided to diversify their cider-producing activity and to seek for new valorisation ways of the cider apples.
Innovating, this project was elaborated with the help of many local and national partners. After years of research, it leads in 2005 to the building of a manufacturing unit dedicated to the cider apple extracts: Val de Vire Bioactives.
This prior research step gave to Val de Vire Bioactives a great expertise of its raw material, allowing to propose efficient and innovative actives on the cosmetic, nutraceutic, and food markets.
