MECANISMS OF ACTION :

    The apple skin (flavonols) ensures a role of protection of the fruit against sun rays. Pomactiv® Cqr concentrates the apple actives and actively protect the skin from the sun. Pigments that are naturally present in apple have antioxidant properties ensuring a protection against DNA skin cells degradation and preventing risks of photo-ageing.

Phloridzin contained in the Pomactiv® Cqr extract can be used by the skin enzymatic system to produce instant tanning molecules. The use of phloridzin as a substrate for the synthesis of melanoïdins (pigments close to the melanin) enables the development of a natural tanning.
