Mechanisms of action :

    Polyphenols are antioxidant molecules with at least one phenolic ring. They trap and neutralize the surrounding oxygenated free radicals.

The measure of the Pomactiv® Wap antioxidant power by the ORAC method is 10.400 µmolTrolox equivalent/g.
Pomactiv® Wap is a powerful antioxidant extract. It contains the whole apple polyphenols profile (Hydroxycinnamic acids chlorogenic acid, Catechins, Procyanidins, Dihydrochalcons phloridzin, Flavonols quercetins). Each of these polyphenols brings its specificity for a full antioxidant protection.

Pomactiv® Wap, which contains 40% of total polyphenols, is 3 times more antioxidant than pure Vitamin C (regarded up to now as one of the base antioxidants) or 4 times more antioxidant than pure Vitamin E.
