Mechanisms of action :

The apple soluble fibers effect is simply mechanical. Combined with water, they form a colloidal suspension filling the stomach and appeasing feeling of hunger.
Moreover, apple soluble fibers are able to slow down sugars and lipids assimilation during digestion, avoiding the outbreak of raging hunger between the meals.

Pomelite® Dsf contains native apple pectin :
its native structure was not modified in order to preserve all its nutrifunctional properties. It differs from industrial pectin, generally used for its gelling properties. Industrial pectin is produced by an acid hydrolysis of the native apple pectin; this chemical operation purifies the linear chain of galacturonic acid.
