Mechanisms of action :

    Apple Synergic™ is a rich in apple fibers and polyphenols extract. This unique ingredient combines the satiety effect of fibers and the capacity of apple polyphenols to slow down sugars assimilation.

fibERs satiEtY effect

Apple Synergic™ effect is simply mechanical. Combined with water, the soluble fibers contained in Apple Synergic™ form a colloidal suspension filling the stomach and appeasing feeling of hunger.
Moreover, apple soluble fibers are able to slow down sugars and lipids assimilation during digestion, avoiding the outbreak of raging hunger between the meals.

Thanks to its low caloric value (1,5 kcal/g), the addition of Apple Synergic™ allows to reduce the energy density of food. For example, in baked products, fat can be partially substituted by Apple Synergic™; this substitution alleviates the receipts and improves the smoothness and shelf-life of the products.

SLOW DOWN nutrients digestion

The polyphenols contained in Apple Synergic™ also slow down the intestinal sugar assimilation. It is one way to control the post-prandial glycaemia peak. Tannins (procyanidols) also decrease the proteinic digestion.
