Apple synergic

Mechanisms of action :

    Apple Synergic™ is highly concentrated in soluble apple fibers. Its composition feed favourably the healthy flora. Thanks to its content of various monomeric oses, Apple Synergic™ fermentation produces a wide range of short chain fatty acids (SCFA), having quite the same profile than the SCFA generated by apples.

Apple Synergic™ polyphenols also have a prebiotic function. They are fermented by the intestinal flora to release SCFA (non-phenolic part of the extract) and phenolic acids.

Both acids decrease the faecal pH. As a consequence, the ionic exchange capacity increases very strongly and enhances minerals assimilation.

Moreover, polyphenols and their bacteriostatic derivatives intervene in the selection and the balance of the intestinal microflora.
